Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to every party using any service provided by ANTHONY OLIVA, INC. (“Anthony Oliva”, “we”, “us”), and to every end user who accesses our services through one of our customers, including resellers and independent software vendors.
You are responsible for the conduct of your own end users. If you resell or embed our services, you must impose terms on your end users that are at least as restrictive as this AUP, and you must be able to demonstrate that you have done so.
The list of prohibited conduct below is not exhaustive. We may treat conduct as a violation if it exposes us, our connectivity partners, or the mobile network operators to legal, regulatory, or reputational risk, even when it is not specifically listed.
Prohibited content
Mobile network operators prohibit the following categories on A2P 10DLC and toll-free traffic. Sending them will result in message blocking and account action, regardless of whether the recipient consented.
SHAFT categories
- Sex. Pornography, sexually explicit content, escort services, and adult entertainment.
- Hate. Content that promotes hatred, harassment, violence, or discrimination against a person or group.
- Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco. Content promoting alcohol, firearms, ammunition, weapons, tobacco, vaping, or nicotine products, unless an approved age-gate is in place and the campaign has been specifically authorized in writing by us for that use case.
Permanently ineligible categories
The following are not eligible for 10DLC traffic under any circumstances. No rewrite of the message copy will make them acceptable.
- Cannabis, CBD, kratom, and other controlled or federally illegal substances, including paraphernalia and delivery services
- Prescription drugs offered without a valid prescription, and illegal pharmaceuticals
- High-risk financial offers, including payday loans, short-term high-interest loans, student loan forgiveness, credit repair, and debt consolidation or relief offers
- Third-party debt collection
- Get-rich-quick schemes, multi-level marketing, pyramid schemes, work-from-home offers, and deceptive investment opportunities
- Cryptocurrency and digital asset solicitations, including token sales and trading signals
- Gambling, sports betting, lotteries, sweepstakes, and casino promotions
- Firearm sales and gun shows
- Illegal or deceptive job offers and staffing scams
- Lead generation traffic in which the recipient’s number is shared with, or sold to, another party
Deceptive and harmful conduct
- Phishing, smishing, and any attempt to obtain credentials, payment details, or personal information under false pretences
- Spoofing the identity of another person, business, or government body, or misrepresenting who is sending the message
- Malware, spyware, and links to sites that distribute them
- Fraud of any kind, including one-ring fraud, wangiri, and social engineering

- Content that violates the intellectual property rights of another party
- Content that violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the CAN-SPAM Act, state telemarketing statutes, or any applicable law
Prohibited technical practices
- Snowshoeing. Spreading substantially similar traffic across many numbers to dilute reputation or evade filtering.
- Number rotation to circumvent carrier blocking, throughput limits, or an opt-out list.
- Unregistered traffic. Sending A2P traffic on numbers not associated with an approved 10DLC campaign or a verified toll-free number.
- Public URL shorteners. Links using shared domains such as bit.ly, tinyurl.com, or goo.gl. Use a branded domain or a dedicated shortener you control.
- Shared originating numbers across unrelated brands.
- Content designed to evade filters, including deliberate misspellings, unicode substitution, and inserted characters.
- Exceeding assigned throughput or attempting to bypass rate limits.
- Reverse engineering, probing, or load testing the platform without written authorization.
Consent requirements
You may only send messages to recipients who have given you prior express consent for the specific program you are sending. The full requirements, including what your call-to-action must disclose and how long you must keep proof, are set out in our Messaging Policy.
You must honor opt-out requests, support the HELP keyword, and never transfer consent between programs or businesses.
Data safeguards
Our services are general-purpose and are not configured by default for regulated data. If you intend to transmit protected health information, payment card data, or other regulated categories, you are responsible for implementing the safeguards the law requires and for obtaining any agreement we need to execute before you begin. Contact legal@anthonyoliva.com before sending such traffic.
Enforcement
We monitor traffic for policy violations using automated screening and manual review of reports. Where we identify a violation we may, at our discretion and without prior notice where the risk warrants it:
- Block the offending messages
- Throttle or suspend the campaign
- Suspend or terminate the account
- Withdraw the associated 10DLC campaign registration
- Report the activity to our connectivity partners, the mobile network operators, and law enforcement
Carriers may also independently block or fine traffic that violates their rules. Any fines or penalties passed to us as a result of your traffic will be passed through to you.
We will restore service once a violation is remediated and we are satisfied that the underlying cause is fixed. Repeated violations result in permanent termination.

Anyone may report a violation of this policy, whether or not they are a customer.

- Use our abuse reporting form
- Call +1 (332) 231-6423
Include the receiving number, the sending number, the timestamp, and the message text where possible. We acknowledge every report within one business day and investigate every report we receive.
